Challenge #3

 My Finances Challenge:

If I had £10,000 right now, I would invest in the S&P 500, coca cola dividence, and a small business. I used the template provided and divided the money £3000 in dividence, £1000 in the S&P, £5000 into a promising business and £1000 in spare. As part of my final project i filmed myself explaining my thought process. something that i will be actively investng in is the S&P with a junior account as soon as i get some money either from my vintted store front or by other means. currently i have planned to invest between £15-£20 a month which shhould total me to £240 by the ned of the year, which ofcourse i wld then partially reinvest.

Challenge #4
My Reselling Challenge Today I listed 3 items on vinted a Stradivarius coat, a boohoo cheeta print cardigan and a really pretty pink dress, which i am very excited to sell because it is so beautiful and deserves to be warn.

Challenge #6

My winning business idea is based in a simple problem that my comunity has which all in all is that we have an aging population and a community of youths that need something to do other than doom scroll, with an increase in juvinile crime, with over 5 care homes in just my region of Brentwood the elderly are left to grow old with their family rarely coming to visit because of the fast pace life of the city. The way I would make my buissness is by taking advantage of troubled youths by engaging with the police and other youth organisations to essentially get genrations talking. I explore this more in Challenge 7 where I lay out my plan.

Challenge #7

As I mention in my business idea my neighbourhood has a massively aging population and the teens that are here by large quickly get involved with drugs, due to a large amount of family issues; something that pearsonally helped me was my grandpa and overall just engaging with the older generation. On the opposite end i remeber having a conversation with a lady in a care home as I came to volenteer and she told me how much she issed her family and talking to younger generations but because of how busy her family was she felt as though she was left to rot inside the care home. I was 10 at the time and 6 years later I still think about that woman how lonely she might feel. The common denominator between the old and the young is that both feel alone even when surrounded by a crowd of people and I would honeslty love to help them build that sense oof community.

The best solution for this is to work with the teens and organise senssions where both groups can sit and interect through teas and coffees. Having a simple conversation can do alot for both parties and having weekly sessions where teens can mingle give them a well needed break from their chaotic world; bingo games would be so much fun for both groups and people bond so welll over games that it would bring a great sense of community.

Funding and profit in this is a huge factor and overall, i think i would use care homes as a scource of funding since the ones in my neighbourhood are extremely wealthy and have chandeliers in each of their dining halls and ceiling tall christmas trees. another way I would achieve funding is through the council as they themselves make a long term profitable investment as their funding would go to soemthing that would eventually make them more money as teens wouldnt just be thinking about more ways to claim benefits but rather ways to become active member is society. from all funding given I would take 10-15% and then use the rest of the money to fund the trips.
Challenge #8

My approach to the freelancing challenge was largly influenced to my buissness idea as I considered what the UK currently needs and infact the western world as a whole. Interpreting will always be needed even in the age of AI and hence for my freelancing project I would aim to use my biligual skills and eventually my trilingual skills to interpret online with either documents or zoom calls. something that a friend of mine did was sell her designs for free at first to buiuld reptuoir and while I may not do it for free I would give it at around a 60% discount for the first 10 or so clients as long as they leave me positive reviews so that I can build a base for evidence as to why my prices will be what they are.
